Our experience in sheet metal forming, amassed over the decades, is brought to bear on all the processes from engineering to tool manufacture and all the way down to small-quantity parts production. True to our philosophy of 'practising what practice has taught us', our engineering staff are all toolmakers. TQM Europe covers the entire engineering process. We always keep abreast of the most recent materials developments and the forming technology challenges posed by the style of the automobile designers. We offer not only the process chain as a whole, but also individual engineering sub-processes as separate services. Our work begins with advising the automobile designers on the practicability of implementing the design in a car body sheet. We conduct feasibility studies and develop proposals to guarantee the implementation of the design. With the forming simulation, the forming process and thus also the method plan are duly finalized. Going on from there, the tool and the die face are designed.

Parallel to car body development, and working closely together with the component developers, our method planners and simulation specialists develop the component, analyze its productional feasibility in terms of geometry, material and manufacturing process, and draw up proposals for a component design that will allow manufacture to be as smooth and efficient as possible. Thanks to the parallelization of the individual processes of development and production planning, component maturity is achieved at an earlier point in time.

To ensure the practicability of our customers' car body design, we work out solutions that are efficient in terms of forming and materials.

With a detailed analysis of component geometry and the way the manufacturing process will develop, our employees determine the limits of producibility and develop measures to ensure the required formability.

In method planning, we lay down the contents of the individual operations and the operation sequences. We develop the manufacturing process in detail. Our aim is to minimize the number of operations and thus make a contribution to saving costs and increasing profitability.

By means of simulation technology, the sub-processes and operations thus developed are tested. That way, we finalize the manufacture of the tools in advance.

The design of the die faces is an integral part of our contribution, and we also offer it to other companies as a subtask.
